Hemp Seeds may just be my favorite thing to add to a meal. However, due to its relationship to Cannabis, its nutritional profile has been overlooked for some time. Although, maybe it shouldn’t have been.
Benefits
Hemp seeds are loaded with good fats and protein. The scientific community refers to it as a complete protein source since it contains all 20 amino acids including the 9 essential amino acids the body cannot produce.
It has a rare 3:1 ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which may promote cardiovascular health.
It is high in gamma linolenic acid (GLA), an essential fatty acid linked to research in preventing cancer, allergies, and diabetes.
Not to mention its richness in both soluble and insoluble fiber which can help fight off those nasty cravings for sugar and make you feel full sooner and help prevent overeating.
There is a lot of chatter in the fitness world about which protein supplement you should take. With multiple theories and so many options it can be very difficult to choose. I prefer to avoid the chatter altogether and go with something natural and abundant in nature that has proven to be beneficial.
Hemp seeds improve digestion, boost metabolism, and even balance hormones. It is a great addition to your post-workout meal! Just sprinkle some over your oatmeal, salad, or pasta and enjoy a healthier addition to your diet!

Hi,
Funny headline! Funny post when you compare the two.
I met you in the Community Pool. I don’t do follow backs, but…
I have a Follow to Follow directory with over 400 bloggers on it. They all do follow backs. I add subscribers to the directory if they wish. It’s one of the perks of following my blog.

Awesome. I’ve always knew and just adapted to using chai seeds and now I think I should try this instead or with it. Thanks!
